1. Introduction

AgentAML Pty Ltd ("AgentAML", "we", "us") provides AML/CTF compliance software for Australian real estate agencies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at agentaml.com.au.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — including your name, email address, agency name, ABN, and customer due diligence data entered into the platform. We also collect usage data, authentication logs, and audit trail records as part of platform operation.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide the AgentAML compliance platform, generate reports and audit trails, improve the service, communicate important updates, and comply with our own legal obligations under the AML/CTF Act 2006.

4. Data storage and security

All data is stored in Australia-region Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is controlled by row-level security policies and multi-factor authentication. We conduct periodic security reviews.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data with third-party service providers (infrastructure, analytics) who are bound by confidentiality obligations. We will disclose data to regulators, including AUSTRAC, if required by law.

6. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at privacy@agentaml.com.au to exercise these rights.

7. Retention

Customer file data is retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under the AML/CTF Act 2006. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and 12 months after termination.
